Jennifer Coghill,
President, Creative Director

Just thinking about designing pages gets Jennifer excited!

As a graduate of the Ontario College Art, Jennifer worked at such Toronto design firms as Carmen Dunjko Associates, Harris Bhandari and the Spencer Francey Group. Working primarily on corporate promotional materials and publications, she soon discovered that her favorite work was always made up of many pages. As long as it had pages, Jennifer loved designing it.

After creating a tribute book for her father's 80th birthday in 2003, Jennifer started creating books for others, and MemorySmyth Books was born.  In  2006 magazine design was added with the addition of DanceTime Toronto magazine.

Now joined by her sister Katherine Zarull, an artist, and Co-founder and former Executive Director of The Print Studio in Hamilton, MemorySmyth Books is poised to expand further, offering custom design and publishing services to anyone who wants a publication or book created.

Attentive to detail, Katherine never stops till the job is done!

Artist Katherine Zarull is a recent addition to the MemorySmyth Books team. A signature member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, she currently sits on both national boards.

Katherine brings both her artistic ability and business acumen honed as the former Executive Director, and Co-founder of The Print Studio, a not-for profit charitable arts organization created by the Hamilton Printmaker’s Arts Association. Katherine, like any good printmaker, was never afraid to get her hands dirty, spending her time involved in all aspects of running The Print Studio.

This dynamo has joined MemorySmyth Books, as our new Vice President, Accounts Director, adding her marketing and business skills as we expand our custom publishing services. Eager to add new skills to her resume, Katherine is also working on adding “editorial designer” to her repertoire.
